Clean bench, also known as laminar air flow or laminar flow cabinet, is a kind of cleanroom equipment that designed and used for the purification of local working area, which the cleanliness can reach Class 100. There are two types of clean benches, vertical laminar air flow and horizontal laminar air flow.
The working principle of clean bench is, after the air is purified by primary efficiency filter, it will be inhaled into static pressure box by silent centrifugal fan and purified by HEPA filter further. The clean air flow blown out from the HEPA filter is with uniform cross-sectional speed, which can remove the existed air in the working area and take dust particles away, creating an environment with higher cleanliness.

Horizontal laminar air flow provides a sterile working zone by blowing purified air from the HEPA filter in horizontal direction, which can prevent dust particles and bacteria from entering the working area. It adopts open working chamber design without partitions, which is more convenient for operation.

Vertical laminar air flow provides a local clean working area by blowing uniform purified air in vertical direction from the HEPA filter installed on the top, which can avoid air vortex effectively. On the front of working chamber, it is fitted with sash window, which can protect the health of working staffs.
